The Directorate of catering services is in a unique position with a large captive market within Kenyatta University, an institution that offers Hospitality and Tourism courses.

Our goals therefore include the following;

  • Computerization of all catering operations in order to ensure efficient service delivery

  • Modernization of restaurants and kitchens in tandem with International standards.

  • Ensuring that payment for all catering services is done by use of smartcards in Students Kitchens.

  • Expand outside catering so as to boost our income and improve service delivery.

  • Continuous staff training in the latest catering trends and innovations

  • Enlarge our bakery operations

  • Ensure non -contact payment for all catering units.

  • Incorporate a Coffee House in the Kenyatta University bakery.
