The Directorate continues to offer catering services to both the university community and external clients during University functions. Key events and functions that the Directorate has catered for in the recent past include:-
- Hosting of Equity leadership programme between 12th and 18th August 2024 .Over 3500 participants were served.
- 8th ICHPER-SD Africa 2024 Regional Congress meeting held between 12th and 14th September 2024
- Awareness Training on Quality Management System for Kenyatta University Staff in October 2024
- KU GIS day celebrated on 20th November 2024
- 56th Graduation ceremony which was held on 13th December 2024.
- VC's Luncheon during the end of year address to Members of staff which was held on 20th December 2024. Over 2500 staff members were served
- Ku Peer Counselors forum capacity building held on 18th January 2024
